Rhubarb wine helper................

Used whole bag of white grape concentrate in 5 gallon of Rhubarb. Was very pleased with the
flavor. Always did liked Rhubarb wine, but it is better with concentrate as to taste and mouth feel.
Pros
  • Easy to use. Adds to the wine.
Cons
  • None I found.

Added Depth to Homemade Whites--Wouldn't be Without It
January 12, 2019
I live in Saudi and make wine for our use and for friends. Lots of friends. :-0

We have grape juice that comes in cartons which can be persuaded to be something much more exciting with the right yeasts, liquid tannins, oak treatment, and a little bit of this grape concentrate.

For both reds and whites, I usually only add 250ml to a 5 gallon batch, at most 500ml for a different style, so a little goes a long way and the increased depth of flavor is absolutely worth it. We call it Super Juice here, and it is the magic bullet to have competition-winning wines. Shipping costs twice as much it costs to buy it in the States but we are a captive market.
Pros
  • Takes homemade wine to another level.
Cons
  • While it says that it is 1 liter, it's consistently about 950ml.
