RJS Packaging Update FAQs
New packaging re-design We are excited to announce the launch of our bold new packaging re-design to Cru International, Cru Select and En Primeur Winery Series, to continue to build loyalty with our core consumers and attract new audiences to RJS Craft Winemaking. The new branding reduces confusion with an easy to understand delineation through bold visuals and a rating standard for our tiers.

New packaging size formats We are introducing new packaging size formats to our core portfolio, to achieve smaller and lighter packaging for customers and end-users. You will still enjoy the same great craft wine, with uncompromising taste and quality, and the amount of resulting product will NOT change. Our product development team has reformulated the recipes to improve the shelf life and stability of our kits while maintaining the quality and consistency our customers love. Reducing the overall kit sizes and weights, results in improved overall ease of use, transport integrity and retailer flexibility. What brands will be impacted by these changes? The initial changes are only to our core portfolio, En Primeur Winery Series, Cru Select and Cru International. These brands will have the new packaging redesign as well as the new packaging size formats. The Restricted Quantities will be updated for the RQ22 Program. We are very excited about the bold new packaging we are introducing into the market, and are investing in updating our Cru Specialty and Orchard Breezin' brands later this year. Cru International, Cru Select, En Primeur Winery Series and select RQs will continue to have wet or dried skin included for all reds as before with the exception of the 6 new international kits inherited from the Grand Cru Product Line (discussed below). Those 6 kits will not have any skins. New Packaging Formats? We are introducing new packaging size formats to our core portfolio, to achieve smaller and lighter packaging for customers and end-users. Reducing the overall kit sizes and weights results in improved overall ease of use, transport integrity, and retailer flexibility. Cru International - 8L 10.8lbs lighter
Cru Select - 12L and 8.0lbs lighter
En Primeur Winery Series - 14L and 11.4lbs lighter
Does this affect the yield of the wine? No. The amount of wine produced from each kit does not change. You will still enjoy the same great craft wine, with uncompromised taste and quality, and the amount of resulting product will not change. Has the quality of the kits been impacted by the change in size? We are updating our packaging to better represent our key selling propositions of unparalleled quality, strong and varied kit assortment offerings, and connection with our core consumers and enticing a new segment to the wonderful world of craft winemaking. This does not mean that the quality of our kits has changed or will change. Our quality of juice and components will continue to stand out amongst our products. In our product development, we reformulated the recipes without removing any juice, with the intent to improve the shelf life and stability while maintaining the same level of quality the customer is used to. Elimination of Grand Cru? There was already much overlap in varietal assortment between the Grand Cru and Cru International brands, and our product lines were more complex than required. With the reduction in packing size, both tiers would have been 8L kits, leading to more consumer confusion between the brands. Keeping the consumer experience in mind, we made the strategic decision to double down on the higher quality offering. Grand Cru is delisted effective immediately and we will continue to sell through the remainder of inventory on hand. We anticipate that there will be stock of most SKUs throughout the month of February, with anticipated run out dates in March. We will continue to publish out of stock reports to keep you informed of available inventories on hand. To provide more selection of the greatest wine-producing regions from around the world, we will be introducing six (6) exciting new varietals in the Cru International family. Additional details about these kits are coming soon. White Wines
