Selected for its superior fermentation performance, this strain allows brewers to achieve greater efficiency with faster fermentations, shorter maturations, high stress tolerance, excellent repitchability, and quick cleanup of off-flavors like acetaldehyde and diacetyl.
The pitch rate will affect the fermentation performance and flavor of the beer. A pitch rate of 11g per 5 gallons of wort is sufficient to achieve optimal results for most fermentations. Dry pitching is the preferred method of inoculating wort. This method is simpler than rehydration and will give more consistent fermentation performance and reduce the risk of contamination. Exceptionally versatile, this strain is perfect for American IPAs, Blond Ales, Stouts, Pale Ales, and more. Also suitable for cider and hard seltzer.
