The Grainfather G40 is the latest brewing system in the G Series range from Grainfather. Packed with all of the innovative features you can find in the G70, this brewing system is your new best friend for brews up to 11 gal (40L), perfect to fill two 5 gal corny kegs. With a max grain bill of 29 lb., you can choose to add extra grain and less liquid to make beer with an ABV over 9%.
Manage your brew remotely with step-by-step brewing with the smart wireless controller. All you need to do is connect your mobile device to the controller and control your brew through the FREE Grainfather app where you have access to bazillions of recipes to choose from, or create your own!
Please Note - this system comes standard with a NEMA 6-15P plug, and requires access to a 220v-240v power supply.

“Due to the weight and dimensions of the Grainfather G70, Grainfather G40, and Grainfather GC4 Glycol Chiller, the manufacturer has recommended that these products be shipped exclusively by palletized freight in order to prevent damage from occurring in transit.
Standard parcel shipping will not be an option for these items from Southern Homebrew. Unless other arrangements have been made, these products will be shipped using our chosen freight services by default and will incur the standard freight fees.
- Manufacturer Warranty is void on products damaged during ground shipment or delivered differently than proposed by the supplier, via palletized freight.
- Damage to freight shipped through Southern Homebrew's freight vendors will be covered because Southern Homebrew will only ship according to manufacturer/distributors requirements.
- In-Store pick-up is permitted but products damaged in transit by the customer once it leaves the store will need to be addressed on a case by case basis. We require our staff and the customer to do a thorough inpection prior to the product leaving the store...no exceptions!
